They are also more noticeable since I can use any sound on them. Notifications are faster for rain/advisories.I can’t even hardly read the radar on the stock app. The only features I know about (as a top tier subscriber for 3 years) that Apple still doesn’t have are: Dark Skys eerily accurate weather data gives you quick access to your current. It’s hard to justify carrot for the weather sources for me. Best Weather App for Notifications: Weather Underground. That could mean carrot tells me “downpour incoming” and it ends up being a partly cloudy day with a 5% chance of a sprinkle… which the stock app would tell me just fine. Accuweather was #5 last month and #3 for last year. My point is that Dark Sky and The Weather Channel (both systems that only the stock app has) are the most accurate in my area. ![]() Winner of Apple's App of the Year, Apple Design Award, and App Store Editors' Choice.
